Placing an order constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions
of business. The following conditions apply to all contracts
for the supply and sale of services and materials by PCS-Photo.
Copyright
By placing an order the customer expresses their right to reproduce
the supplied image under copyright law. All photographs and
negatives provided for restoration, printing or archiving are
accepted on the strict understanding that the provider owns
copyright or permission has been obtained from the owner in
writing.
The customer is absolutely liable for any resulting violation
of copyright action taken by any third party.
Estimates
Estimates are valid for a period of one calendar month from the
estimate date.
Orders
PCS-Photo will review the choice of service (Standard, Advanced
or Expert), if PCS-Photo’s view differs from that ordered,
PCS-Photo will advise of any difference in cost and await customer
instructions. All orders must be accompanied by enough information
for PCS-Photo to process the order. Any changes must be agreed
in writing or by e-mail. The customer must ensure that all
communications regarding orders should specify enough information
for the order to be traced.
Delivery
PCS-Photo will do its best to ensure that orders are completed
within the time quoted and will not accept any liability for
late delivery of orders. The customer has the right to cancel
order that is delayed by more than 14 days from the quoted
completion date. All our orders are returned by registered
delivery and, therefore, PCS-Photo cannot accept any liability
of loss or damage incurred during delivery.
Despatch
Goods are sent at the customer’s risk.
Minimum Order Charge
There is a minimum order charge of £5.00.
Liability
PCS-Photo will not accept liability above the cost of the customer’s
original material and if this has an inherent value beyond that
of the material itself then PCS –Photo recommends that
the customer takes out all risks insurance to cover the replacement
value.
Colours
Exact colour matching is not guaranteed due to the limitations
of photographic and computer materials and processes tonal
variations can occur.
Prices
PCS-Photo reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice.
Surcharges will be made for urgent work outside our normal
hours of business.
Payment
Unless other terms have been agreed the terms of payment are
payment in full within 30 days of date of invoice. PCS-Photo
reserves the right to add 3% per month to overdue accounts.
