This service deals with images which have sustained some physical damage, but not a significant amount. The image is cropped or resized if necessary, before being corrected for colour balance, contrast and brightness. Any torn corners are replaced. Creases, lines and marks or stains on the background are repaired. Repairs to the subjects other than areas of complex detail such as hands, feet, face etc. which require the Expert Service.

New plain or uncomplicated backgrounds can be inserted or the existing background can be left to maintain the integrity of the original picture.

In this example scratches were removed, the contrast and brightness were adjusted. The perspective was adjusted to minimize the "falling over" appearance of the church window.

It can also be converted to monochrome black-and-white or sepia tints. An image can invoke quite different emotions depending on the final finish of the print. re-composition, first print or transfer to CD and return postage by first class recorded delivery.
